What Happened to my Digital TV Stations?
It happens sometimes that TV stations change their digital frequencies, when they do you will temporarily lose access to that station, but it's still there, you just have to let your TV find them for you (again). The FCC has a whole page of info relating to this subject with lots of ways to get your old channels back, and maybe find a few new ones in the process. Or take a look at the video below which goes over the most common solution to this problem.

How to Find Podcasts
If you're an iPhone user you have the native podcast app that Apple supplies with your phone, it's okay, but there are much better apps out there for the job. And if Android is your device, you don't even get a basic podcast app built in. Before you can play podcasts, you have to find them and that's what a good podcast app will help you do. For Android, some of the best podcast apps are; Pocket Casts, Spotify (music and podcasts), Google Podcasts, Podcast Addict and Castbox to name a few. For Apple the best podcast apps are; Overcast, Castro, Pocket Casts and Castbox. As you can see, some of the apps work on both platforms. For a bit more detail on choosing a podcast app take a look at the video below and Happy Listening.

What is DNS and Why Should I Care?
DNS, or the "Domain Name System" is a very integral part of the internet and you use it, whether you know it or not, everytime you visit a website online. It's a complicated system of servers that basically act like the Yellow Pages. Computers think in numbers and humans think in words, and the DNS allows the two to c0nnect. When you sit down at your computer and type in a website address, for example, Google.com, your computer goes thru several different DNS servers until it finds the 'number' that matches "Google.com." Much in the same way that you would look up someone's name in the Yellow Pages and that book would match the name with a phone number. All of this action is done in the background and also nearly instantaneously and requires nothing more from you than you typing the name into your browser address bar. For a more detailed look at how DNS works, take a look at the video below.

Two Part Identification
Or Two Factor Identification as it is sometimes called, is just what it sounds like and you've been using for a long time, long before you got your smartphone. In the old days, you'd go to the grocery store and write them a check and they would ask to see your picture ID and compare the photo with the person standing in front of them. That's two factor identification. In the age of the smartphone, two factor ID takes on many forms, it can come as a text message or email with a security code, or you can utilize an app to confirm who you are to those who need to know. For all the details on two part identification take a look at this article from CNET that covers a wide range of ways to do this.
