Apple Releases First AI Preview
Apple on Monday released the first version of Apple Intelligence, its suite of artificial intelligence features that will improve Siri, automatically generate emails and images and sort notifications. The new software called Apple Intelligence was released in the developer beta of iOS 18.1. It is also available in similar releases for iPad and Mac. It is currently available for developers to test. Recycling Your Computer
Before you recycle or resell your old PC or other computer, there are several steps to take to preserve your data and privacy, from transferring software to wiping your machine. Do you have an old unused computer lying around your house? If you are planning to sell, give away, recycle, or donate the device, there are a few steps you need to take before you say goodbye. First, you want to back up any personal files to another location. If you have any licensed software, deactivate and remove it from your machine. This will be the last update to the Computer Club website. As of September 1, 2024 this website will no longer be searchable and no more updates will be posted to it. It's been a great run, I only hope you've had as much fun being a part of this as I have. It's been my honour.
